April 18, 2010 Meeting:
Maricopa Catholics For Life (Parish Pro-Life Group)
Our parish pro-life group, Maricopa Catholics for Life, will participate
in the Salsa Festival by helping to man the parish information booth
from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Maricopa Catholics for Life will be sponsoring a Pro-Life Prayer hour
every last Friday of the month. This month we will be praying for
right to life in front of the Autozone on Hwy 347 (John Wayne Parkway)
from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend this
pro-life prayer event.
March 28, 2010 Meeting:
The first meeting of the Pro-Life Council of Our Lady of Grace Parish
was held on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the parish office.
It was decided to conduct monthly organizational meetings
and to provide periodic opportunities for information, education and engagement
in pro-life activities for the parish and the city of Maricopa at large.
We propose that our group will base itself in prayer and supplication to
the Lord Jesus Christ, that through our prayers and sacrifice He will
win the victory against the forces of death and allow the gift of life
to be protected and respected by all our parishioners and the citizens of
our country.
We hope to be a presence in the city of Maricopa by participating in
city events (Founder's Day, Salsa Festival, Fourth of July, etc.) and
sharing educational information about pro-life issues.
We seek to engage the other Christian communities who may wish to join
us in our efforts to promote a greater respect for the sanctity of life.
All who wish to join us are welcome.
